Submitted electronically via our VetConnex FBI-authorized channeler. Results typically arrive within 24 to 48 hours.
NICS Challenge & Voluntary Appeal File
If you were denied or delayed during a firearms purchase NICS check, you have the right to submit a fingerprint-based appeal to the FBI NICS Section. A Voluntary Appeal File (VAF) assigns a unique PIN that speeds future NICS checks for individuals who have been wrongly flagged. Both require certified FD-258 fingerprint cards, produced on site at HTM Security Services. Walk-ins welcome.
ATF-EFT Fingerprinting for NFA Items
ATF electronic fingerprint files for NFA Form 4 and Form 1 applications including suppressors, short-barreled rifles (SBRs), short-barreled shotguns (SBSs), and other NFA-regulated items. Your completed EFT file is delivered by email and loaded onto a flash drive on site. The file never expires and can be reused for future NFA submissions with any FFL dealer.
