Unlike paper FD-258 submissions that take 6 to 8 weeks, electronic submission through our approved channeler means results arrive the same week you're fingerprinted. ATF-EFT File — Delivered in Minutes
An ATF-EFT File is a digital fingerprint file required for ATF Form 1 and Form 4 applications related to federal firearm licensing, NFA items, and gun trust transfers. This electronic format allows for faster, more secure submission and processing of fingerprints for ATF background checks for suppressors, silencers, short-barreled rifles (SBR), short-barreled shotguns (SBS), machine guns, destructive devices, and other NFA firearms.
