If you're pursuing a concealed carry license in New Mexico, understanding where to get your fingerprints taken is an important first step. While ABQ Fingerprinting provides comprehensive fingerprinting services for many purposes, we want to ensure you're directed to the right place for your specific needs.
Concealed Carry Permits: Where to Go
For New Mexico Concealed Carry Permits, applicants must schedule their fingerprinting appointments through one of two authorized channels:
New Mexico Department of Public Safety - The state agency that oversees the concealed carry licensing program
Identogo - The authorized vendor contracted by the state for concealed carry fingerprinting services
Important: The New Mexico Department of Public Safety does not accept standard fingerprint cards (FD-258) for concealed carry applications. All applicants must schedule and pay for their appointments directly through the Identogo website at https://nm.state.identogo.com
These appointments must be completed through the official state channels as part of the concealed carry application process.
Convenient Identogo Locations
Several ABQ Fingerprinting locations also serve as Identogo partner sites, offering convenient access to state-authorized concealed carry fingerprinting:
ABQ Fingerprinting Main Office (Albuquerque)
HTM Security Services (Las Cruces)
DMV Title Experts (Santa Fe)
At these locations, you can schedule appointments through Identogo for your concealed carry permit while also accessing our full range of other fingerprinting services.
